# Physical SRM Recovery Program

Since the SRMs are at the end of their useful life, Revenu Québec has implemented an eco-friendly, simple, and free recovery program to ensure the secure destruction of the confidential information they contain.

Thus, from November 1, 2023, to December 31, 2025, anyone who owns an SRM and wishes to take a positive step for the environment and sustainable development can take advantage of this program.&#x20;

All SRMs and their accessories (i.e., the cable, power supply, and keyboard-screen) will be recycled, and no material will end up in a landfill.
