# Connexions

### Connexions

Before installing the connections to your Velmix LQ, make sure you have all the parts you need and that your workspace is clear of any items not related to the Velmix LQ.

{% hint style="info" %}
NOTE : All connectors have orientation guides, both on the cable connectors and on the housing connectors, as shown below:\

{% endhint %}

**To connect your Velmix LQ :**

1. Position the Velmix controller so that you can view it from above.

2. Insert the power connector (AVP-002115) with the orientation guide downwards into the Velmix's left rear connector and turn the connector coupling ring counter-clockwise until you feel the mechanism lock into place.

3. Do the same for the RS232 or Ethernet communication cable with the right rear connector.

4. If not already installed, insert the activator connector (AZV-200010) and turn the coupling ring firmly clockwise.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.payfacto.com/payfacto-knowledge/veloce-pos/velmix-lq-232-ip/connexions.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
