Report Center (Delivery)
This option allows to create or modify street record. To use this option, you have to select the Street Code option in Delivery/ View/ Options. When using this option, the system will verify if the customer is located in your delivery sector. It will also give you the opportunity to type only the first two or three letters of the street code and select from a list that will be displayed on the workstation screen. Finally, you could use this option to apply an automatic delivery charge.
This key allows to add a new street record to the street database. When you select that key, a blank street record will be display asking you to enter the basic information for that street.
This key allows to modify information on street records. Select the record to modify and click on the MODIFY button. The street record will be display and you will be able to change any field.
This key allows to delete a street record from the street database. Select the record to delete and click on the REMOVE button. A warning message will be prompt asking you if you are agree to delete that record. Click on OK to delete this record.
Street Information
Code
Type the street code that will be used to access this street (10 characters maximum, alphanumeric).
Name
Type the full name of the street.
Beginning
Enter the Starting house number for that street.
End
Enter the ending house number for that street.
Delay
NOTE: These fields are used if the Dispatching option is enabled in Delivery / View / Options / Dispatching
Going
Enter the time, in minutes, allowed to the driver to reach his destination. This is used to estimate when the driver will reach the area.
If this field is empty, the system will use the default delay from the Going field in Delivery / View / Options
Back
Enter the time, in minutes, allowed to the driver to come back from his destination. This will be used to estimate when the driver will be back from delivery.
If this field is empty, the system will use the default delay from the Back field in Delivery / View / Options
In Zone
Enter the estimated time, in minutes, for the driver to perform each of his dispatched deliveries (once his destination has been reached).
If this field is empty, the system will use the default delay from the In Zone field in Delivery / View / Options
Street Details
You can have up to eight zones in a street, the next three options have to be specified for each zone.
Number
Enter the beginning street number for the zone.
For example:
Charge
Enter the delivery charge for the zone, if applicable.
Zone
Enter the delivery zone description that will be printed on the delivery check. This option can be useful for the driver to find out the sector for that street and to group delivery together.
Warranty
Check this field if this delivery sector is covered by a delivery warranty.
NOTE: This field is used when the Warranty Delay option is enabled in Delivery / View / Options / Functionality
Usually customers are created from the terminal, but you can use this option to modify or to create new customers The Customers option allows to add, modify and delete customer records from the delivery database.
This key allows to add a new customer record to the delivery database. Upon selection, a blank customer record will be displayed asking to enter all the basic information on that customer.

Customer Information:
Phone Number
This is the code that the system will use to access any customer in the database.
Phone Extension
Type in an employee's phone extension in a company.
Name
Type in the name of the customer.
Company Name
Type in the name of the business.
Street number
Type in the house or apartment building number both alpha and numeric characters are allowed, such as 134A.
Street
Type in the street name.
Street Code
Choose the delivery area from the drop-down list.
NOTE: You will get a warning when saving a customer if you have left that field undefined. When you later access the client from the Point Of Sales, if the street code is not recognized, you will have to delete the street name and hit enter to choose it from a list. The Street Code option must be enabled in Delivery / View / Options / Setup
Apt. No.
Type in the apartment number.
Near
Use this option to specify a location near the delivery point. Type in a geographical reference or landmark to which the address is near.
Zip code
This option is useful if you print mailing labels. Type in the zip code for the address.
City
Type in the city.
State
Type in the state.
Area code
Type in the area code for that customer.
Remark #1, Remark #2, Remark #3
You may use this option to keep special messages in the customer file, such as beware of dog or use rear door. Type any message in the three lines provided.
Sales Information
NOTE: You will not be able to edit the "Sales information" section. These fields will be updated every time a customer orders.
First Order ,Last Order, Number of Order ,Total of Orders ,Credit ,Credit Cumulative
This information only section provides you with statistical information on the selected customer.
Special Remarks
Remark #1,Remark #2
The Special Remarks are remarks that appear on the delivery screen at the workstation but are not printed on the delivery checks. This option can be useful to send special messages to delivery employees that the customer will not see, such as "Do not accept personal checks".

Use External Zones
Enable this option to import delivery sections from an External Orders Service (EOS).
Zones
This column displays the name of each external section.
NOTE: This description is modified by the EOS only.
Delivery Fees
This column displays any amount added for each external zone.
NOTE: This value is modified by the EOS only.
Base Delay
This column displays the minimum number of minutes required to get to each external zone.
NOTE: This time is modified by the EOS only.
Additional Delay
Enter the extra time required to get to each zone, according to road conditions and rush hours.
NOTE: This second delay is modified at the restaurant, and then transmitted to the EOS in real-time.
Status
Set this field to Close if the drivers currently can not get to that zone, because off road conditions. For example, if the main road leading to this zone is closed, you can shut down this zone for this restaurant, so that the EOS refuses orders, or tries to assign orders to another restaurant with their permission.
NOTE: This status is modified at the restaurant, and then transmitted to the EOS in real-time.
Reset at End Of Day
Enable this option to automatically bring back the Additional Delays to zero and the Statuses to Open at the end of the fiscal day. The Zones, Delivery Fees and Base Delays fields will then also be imported from the EOS.
Manual Update
Touch this button to import immediately the Zones, Delivery Fees and Base Delays from the EOS.
This option deletes delivery records, older than the date you specified. When this option is enabled,

The next screen will show.
Date:
Enter the date before the day you want the records erased and just click OK.

Information Input
Phone Extension
Enable this option to prompt for a business's employee extension number.
Customer's Name
Enabled this option to request the customer's name when entering delivery orders.
Company Name
Enable this option to prompt for a business name.
Street Code
Enable this option so that the street can be chosen by a code when adding a new customer.
Near
Enable this option to request a landmark to help the driver find the address.
Zip
Enable this option to request the zip code.
City
Enable this option to request the City, if the restaurant delivers to more then one territory.
State
Enable this option to request the State, if the restaurant delivers to more then one territory.
Area Code
Enable this option to request the area code.
Access by Phone Number
This option allows the order taker to go back to a current delivery order using the customer phone number, or order number as the access code. Otherwise, the order taker will have access using only the order numbers.
NOTE: The With Driver option must be enabled in Delivery / View / Options / Functionality
Remark
Enter the number of lines you wish to be available on the workstation. This enters remarks that are printed on the guest check.

Dispatching
If enabled, when a delivery driver logs into the workstation, a dispatch delivery screen displays to help manage delivery orders. A driver manager can assign or recall orders to the drivers and visually see what has been assigned and to whom.
NOTE: The With Driver option must be enabled in Delivery / View / Options / Functionality, and you must enable the Driver Manager option for an employee in P.O.S. Control / Employees / Configuration / Delivery
Default Dispatch Delay
Countdown
Enter the time, in minutes, to dispatch an order for a delivery (an order should be dispatch to the driver when he is ready to leave the restaurant). The dispatch screen will display a countdown that is based on this setting for each order waiting to be dispatched. Before the time has elapsed, the order is displayed in black. When an order is passed due, it changes to red and the counter counts up.
Going
Enter the time, in minutes, allowed to the driver to reach his destination. This is used to estimate when the driver will reach the area.
NOTE: This field is only used if the Going field in Delivery / File / Street is empty for this street, or if Street Zone option is disabled in Delivery / View / Options / Functionality
In Zone
Enter the estimated time, in minutes, for the driver to perform each of his dispatched deliveries (once his destination has been reached).

Back

Printing
Enable this option to activate the print dispatcher.
NOTE: During the End Of Day, the print dispatcher is automatically reactivated if it was disabled by a Driver Manager.
Supported Printers
NOTE: Redirection tables can be used for printouts.
Logical Printer
Enable the logical printers controlled by the print dispatcher. If this option is disabled for a printer, items going to it are automatically printed when they are received.
NOTE: For example, a preparation chit with included items, such as side salad, plastic utensils, napkins, etc. could be printed as soon as the order is received.
Late Alert
Enter the delay, in minutes, before an order is displayed in red.
NOTE: A value of 0 (zero) disables this option.
Automatic Printing
Revenue Center
Enable the revenue centers controlled by the print dispatcher. If this option is disabled for a revenue center, its items are automatically printed when they are received.
Delay
Enter the wait, in minutes, after which items from this revenue center are automatically printed without a dispatch employee confirmation.
Automatic Messages Print
Enable this option to force messages from the Online Ordering Center to print immediately as they are received. If this option is disabled, the messages are visible in the print dispatcher screen, and they can be manually printed from there.
Warranty Delay
If enabled, this option offers delivery warranties. In this field, enter the warranty time (in minutes) that you are offering.
NOTE: Both the Street Code option in Delivery / View / Options / Setup and the Use Zone option below must be enabled.
Historical
This function stores the delivery delay of the last five orders from the customer for references and reporting. When using this feature, the workstation will ask for a delivery time when a delivery is finalized.
NOTE: The With Driver option below must be enabled.
Allow Default Time:
Enable this option so that drivers do not have the enter the actual time they were at the customer's door when they return from a delivery. Instead, they can simply touch the Enter button when the delivery time is requested.
NOTE: The With Driver option below must also be enabled.
Use Zone
This option allows to print the delivery zone to the delivery checks.
NOTE: The Street Code option must be enabled in Delivery / View / Options / Setup
Last Order
If enabled, the customer's last order will be available from the CMD screen.
Kitchen Order
If enabled, the workstation will send the delivery orders to the kitchen's printer.
Auto Last Order
If enabled, the customer's previous order appears automatically on the menu screen once entered the customer's phone number.
NOTE: The Last Order option above must be enabled.
Before Order
If enabled, the customer's information will be required before the order.
NOTE: Enable this option to make sure that the delivery address is entered.
With Driver
This option allows to keep track of all the deliveries by driver number. When enabled, all delivery orders are assigned an order number and each order number is assigned to a delivery driver. Drivers can then print their own financial report. If this option is disabled, all delivery orders taken by the order taker will be reported on their financial report.
External Driver
This option allows to contract out deliveries to an external service. In this type of operation, the delivery check is printed and closed only when assigning the order to a driver, instead of printing when first sending the order.
NOTE: The With Driver option above must be enabled.
Print on Separate Line
This option allows to have the address details, such as address number, street, apartment and phone number, each print on a separate line.
Use Touch Screen Keyboard
This option allows to automatically display a keyboard on the delivery input screen to enter a phone, thus eliminating the need of a hardware keyboard.
Print Receivable Infos
Enable this option to print the tip, total and signature lines on Delivery checks when paying with Account Receivable, by touching the receivable key on the Print screen, and selecting the A/R before printing the delivery checks.
NOTE: Delivery driver needs to enter tip amount after delivery.
Advanced Customer Search
Enable this option to add Delivery telephone number lookup functionality to return multiple matches if more then one number starts with the number keyed in. Typing part of an existing number opens a list of all clients with a similar phone number. If you touch Exit, the screen returns to the phone number field to add a new client with a different extension.
NOTE: If this option is disabled and you enter a partial number, it will return the first match.
Pick Up Customer's Name to Kitchen Coupon
Enable this option to print the customer name on the Delivery Printer for pick-up orders.
NOTE: This option can not be used for Pre-Orders.
Preparation Delay
Enable this option to add the time from the Minutes field to the Base and Additional delays of each zone of the External Order System (EOS).
Minutes
Enter the cooking time for all orders, to add to the Base and Additional delays of each zone of the EOS.
NOTE: For example, for a pizzeria, there is always a minimum of 15 minutes cooking time.
Use Charge as Tips
Enable this option to give the delivery charge amount in the field below as well as from Delivery / File / Street to the driver as a tip.
NOTE: The Gratuity option must also be enabled in P.O.S. Control / Employees / Configuration / Invoice / Tax-Service, and the Gratuity must be configured in P.O.S. Control / Payments / Tips & Service
Charge
Enter the delivery charge amount in this field. If there is no delivery charge or if it is related to an area, enter $0.00.
Pre-order
When enabled, it allows the order taker to use the Pre-Order function. Pre-Orders are orders given in advance.
Workstation
Select here the workstation that will take car of the Pre-Order. This workstation will verify every minute if there are Pre-Order to print.
Employee
Select here the Employee that Maitre'D will use to open a table, order the items and print a check when the pre-order will be processed.
Polling
Set the delay, in seconds, between each time the pre-order workstation polls the Maitre'D server to know if it needs to send ready pre-orders. The recommended delay is 60 seconds, and the maximum delay is 99 seconds.
NOTE: Making this interval too short adds significant traffic unto your network.
Use Driving Direction
Enable this option to allow the dispatcher to print delivery routes with Microsoft MapPoint installed on the workstation.
Add Return Route
Enable this option to allow the dispatcher to include the way back to the restaurant with the driving directions.
Print Delivery Route
Enable this option to allow the driver manager to generate a report of the orders for the driver. The report is used by the driver to note the delivery time of each order of a route.
NOTE: This is not to be confused with the Driving Direction options above.
The Delivery Module from the Maitre'D desktop allows to configure the delivery system, including creating, modifying and deleting customers and street code records. The Maitre'D Delivery Module uses the telephone to input and/or recall orders. Once a customer is entered into the system, all information is saved and maintained in the Back-Office PC Server for future ordering. The street code option within the Delivery Module allows to create/map or modify delivery areas. This option will verify if the customer is located in the delivery area, and assign an automatic delivery charge where applicable. All streets in a delivery area must be programmed in the database. In order to access this module, click on the Delivery icon on the screen of the Back-Office or of the module you are in.
After selecting the Delivery option, the Delivery menu displays.
This option let you choose whether you want to see toolbar (all the icons at the top of your screens) or not. This selection toggles from enable and disable. When there is a check mark besides the option, the option is enabled and you will see the toolbar.

Three different Log level are available, Standard, Detail and Debug. This option is for trouble shooting purpose and should be use only with the supervision of your Maitre'D reseller.
