# Changing passwords Maitre’D will automatically force users to change their passwords every 90 days. Also, Maitre’D keeps a history of each user’s passwords so that the last 4 passwords cannot be re-used. In case a password becomes compromised or if you have any doubts to that effect, you can force any user to change their password by checking the **User must change password at next login** box in their account’s properties.
