# Maitre'D Communication Server

The Maitre'D Communication Server Service is installed and activated by default on all Maitre'D installations using version 7.08.000.000 or later. The following explains how to verify that the Maitre'D Communication Server Service is up-and-running on your Windows 10 computer.

1. Right-click the Windows Start button and select the Run option.

2. The Run dialog box opens. Type services.msc and click OK.

3. The Windows Services window opens. Locate the Maitre'D 7 Communication Server service in the list.

4. Make sure that the service's status is Running, and that the Startup Type is Automatic.
5. This confirms that the Maitre'D 7 Communication Server service is installed and running properly.
