# Adding a payment method

Adding to the basic configuration:

In the “link” tab of your payment method, please select the correct type for the sales recorder that corresponds to your payment method.

**Important:** If the payment method you create is intended to be used for an online ordering platform, e.g., WEB payment, you must check the “E-commerce” option.
