During the End of Day process, Maitre'D can create a Full Data Extract to be sent to the Corporate Office. This Full Data Extract contains the equivalent of the Full System Backup as well as the Archived Checks. To keep the size of this file as small as it can, the file includes only data files that were modified from the last End of Day. To create a Full Data Extract file that will include all databases again, you must reset the Control File, type YES to confirm the operation.
Cumulative Files

The Converter Module from the Maitre'D desktop allows to convert data file from sales, management, payroll and inventory in a Dbase format. These files can be accessed using any off-the-shelf software such as Crystal Report or sent to a remote location using the Maitre'D Corporate Communication software. Converter is also in charge of menu update from Head-Office Broadcast.
In order to access this module, click on the Converter icon on the screen of the Back-Office or of the module you are in.
After selecting the Converter option, the Converter menu displays.
Sales can be imported from the web or a kiosk into Maitre'D thanks to the XML platform. Files transferred to the Back-Office are treated in real time. Therefore, inventory updates are also in real time. This increases efficiency and eliminates the need for costly equipment. Since data is transferred automatically, this eliminates errors from manual data entry.
